Reba was 9 months old when we adopted her - a beautiful shepherd/sheltie mix. As intelligent as she was she was equally as stubborn. Training that worked with my other dogs was ineffective with her. The more I persisted, the more she resisted. Clearly my dog had the upper hand. Then I realized: "my way or the highway" needed to change. I had to figure out what worked for her. My success prompted me to apply this same principle with my husband. The results were amazing!
