It would be interesting to compare policing in England, Sweden, and other places that are more humane than the United States. Even murderers are treated humanely.

Nicely worded Nathan. I was surprised Chille was allowed to continue with his fruitless, myopic arguments and ad hominem attacks and child like There is a serious problem in this country with policing, unfortunately this conversation was of no benefit toward addressing the issues at hand. I expect better from David as a host.

Chille was so hyperbolic and sensationally bigoted towards the former cop. It's scary that we have such professors using absolute language to misrepresent and obfuscate reality to young people. Chille displayed extreme prejudice and is either intellectually dishonest or a delusional true believer in his misrepresentation of the facts. He takes kernels of truth and weaves entire narratives around them and proceeeds to proclaim with such pretentious arrogance what kind of person Joe was without knowing much about him other than he was a former cop and ex military. Chille was unbelievably annoying and such a whiny turd. Big applause to Joe for keeping his cool and acting like a mature professional. I don't even know why Chille was invited to this podcast. He added nothing of substance and acted like a whiny toddler. The guy was a turd and there are plenty of other more respected constitutional law experts. I wonder what other constitutional law experts think of this douche bag. My guess is that he is on the fringe and intentionally misrepresents the facts, taking them out of context to fit his narrative. Props to Joe and boo to the show for inviting Chille the douche bag.

Could only listen to the first hour. What could have been a productive and important conversation was sidelined by someone with too much emotional and/or trauma related to the subject and this person used this as an opportunity to attempt to brow beat and berate the officer.
