Technology is increasing at an alarming rate. Companies like Elon Musk's "Neuralink" are developing ultra-high bandwidth brain-machine interfaces to connect humans and computers. Many scientists and others (including Elon Musk) say matter of factly that human consciousness can be downloaded/uploaded to a computer program or data cloud. If the human mind can be downloaded into a computer program, how can we be sure consciousness isn't a form of computer code generated by programming? I'll discuss this and much more in this episode.
