The University Of Florida's Men's basketball team is off to another good start this season with a 14-2 record to this pint and are currently ranked 7th in the country. Florida has been long know mostly for its football program but since 2000 the Gators basketball team has won two championships and have been to the elite eight six times.The leading scorer is Casey Prather and the team has been very good defensively this year with the pressing style of defense that they play. Coach Billy Donovan has done an excellent turning the basketball team into contenders nearly every year. Florida has a 21-3 record in NCAA tournament games since 2006 and this season has some some adversity but the Gators have the look of a team that can make a deep run in tournament this spring. Florida plays at Auburn this Saturday. The Sec will most likely come down to the Florida and Kentucky winner this season.
