We’re in our final week before Spring Break and the forecast highs tomorrow are near 70. We can just about feel the breezes of summer. Next to the first day of school in September, this is my favorite day of the year. Why? Because everything is possible in these last ten weeks. Even if you’ve made a fine mess of the first thirty weeks, you’ve got another chance to succeed.

David Wilkerson believes, “One of the most tragic words in any language is SOMEDAY! He says, “It sums up the unfulfilled hopes and dreams of this entire generation. Someday is never going to happen if you just sit around hoping for some kind of miracle. If the miracle ever happens, it will be a result of something you do!”

You can help create your own miracles in this final quarter of school. Maybe your miracle is getting straight A’s. Maybe your miracle is helping another student to pass all his or her courses. Maybe your miracle is passing all your courses yourself.

American Poet Robert Frost understood the nature of life. He wrote, “In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on. At any point in our lives, we can decide to try and do better. If it works, great. If it doesn’t, life goes on.

In the movie, Vanilla Sky, the character played by Penelope Cruz says, “Every passing minute is another chance to turn it all around.”

Today is my second favorite day of the year because it is a great day to turn it all around. The end of the school year is just over the horizon. Today is yours. Make your miracle happen.
