This week on the show I host my new friend, Simen Sandnes, from Arkentype, calling in all the way from Norway.

There are so many amazing musicians out of that country, it's just kind of mind-blowing. Ever since I did my first show with Jørgen Munkeby from Shining, it's been hard to stay away. Incredible bands and fantastic musicians for days. There's something in the water up there, that's for sure.

Even Simen made a point that he doesn't like warm weather. He's an incredible drummer, session musician, touring professional, and above all super warm and inviting guy. He tries so hard and he is just that good.
