Captain Randy Norfleet, USMC, retired, joins VIP's Casey Hasten in a discussion about overcoming fear. On April 19, 1995, Captain Norfleet watched Timothy McVeigh park his Yellow Ryder truck in front of the Murrah Federal Building. After entering the Oklahoma City Federal Building Captain Norfleet sustained life-threatening injuries from the blast of a 5,000lbs fertilizer bomb. He was a key witness that identified McVeigh as the person responsible for the bombing, and in October of 1995, he was permanently medically retired for sustained injuries. Out of this experience, Randy became a motivational speaker encouraging people to “break through the bubble of fear.” We discuss the strategies he used to face his fears and find strength and confidence in his life.
