Co-hosts Robert Meyer Burnett, Rrr Mmmm, and Lael Rockwell, take a look at "The Slap" that occurred during the Oscars telecast on Sunday, March 27. What do the actions taken by those involved and, more importantly, the actions taken and statements made by those not directly involved say about the state of social anxiety around what people can and can't say without getting ostracized. This is particularly important when you consider the nature of the job of a stand-up comic.

Rob asks if society, in general, has become so infantilized that it's getting to be too dangerous to be in a profession that intentionally pushes the boundaries. Would Lenny Bruce or Richard Pryor be able to find work today without getting marginalized?

And how did Will Smith's behavior reflect on the progress made by the African-American community in the Entertainment Industry? Lael has some very interesting views.
