I do like football but my relationship has been more than a bit complicated over the years. I like what I’ve seen with some of these games but my goodness Second Season has a cliff for a learning curve. So I’m looking for something pretty good with a basic version, probably APBA, but APBA’s selection of in-print vintage pro football seasons is deplorable if you don’t like the modern post-2000 era (and I definitely do NOT). And Strat seems way too involved as a C&D football game. So I’m looking forward to hearing what you both recommend.

Another stellar podcast! I like to do a "Game Of The Week" using Second Season (or any full-function game), then do the rest of the week with a quick-play. I am a big stats guy, so I will need to check out Fast Action Football. Keep up the great work guys!
