WEEK 9: DAY 3
OUT OF TOUCH WITH REALITY

Hebrews 4:14 -16
Now that we know what we have—Jesus, this great High Priest with ready access to God—let's not let it slip through our fingers. We don't have a priest who is out of touch with our reality. He's been through weakness and testing, experienced it all—all but the sin. So let's walk right up to him and get what he is so ready to give. Take the mercy, accept the help.

My question to you today is do you know what you have? Do you know how updated and in touch with reality Jesus is? Are you one of those that when faced with issues of your reality, your first action is to put your spirituality aside?

I am here today to give you light so you can act accordingly from this day knowing you have help and also prompt you to receive His help.

Jesus isn't just a saviour who died for us and paid a price for our transgressions, He is a saviour that His act remains present because He is a high priest for us.
This sheer gift gives us access to the throne of Mercy and Grace because in Him, our position is God's righteousness.

Not only that, He is very well updated, quite in touch with whatever we have gone through, are going through and will go through. Nothing we pass through makes him skip a heart beat- He knows, He understands and He wins.

Nothing beats a God that wins even when it seems lost to us. I don't know about you, but I am wiser and better following Him.

When we are weak, He is strong; We are clueless, He is clear; We are in doubt, He is sure; We are empty, He is full; We aren't, He is.

Always ready to give, He opens His arms wide to receive us who comes. He never withholds the good things of life from His children. Even before we became adopted, He still extended Himself to us, breathing upon us to take steps towards Him, never giving up on us.

Matthew 7:11
And if you hard-hearted, sinful men know how to give good gifts to your children, won’t your Father in heaven even more certainly give good gifts to those who ask him for them?

So where is your courage? Are you allowing fear, guilt and shame cower you away from receiving His gift? You have got the power of choice. Pick up that courage and run to Him. He knows and He is willing.

Go on, take mercy and accept the help. Don't let pride be your fall. Self help is no help. You can't know how to live a day you haven't lived before. Only He who knows can help. Go on, take mercy and accept the help.

I pray that you know the depth of the hope of Glory you have in you as you open up yourself to His embrace, mercy and Grace in Jesus name, amen.
