He drives out the money-changers, and scandalizes the temple leadership for all the disruption He brings to the normal operation of the temple during the feast days. He then curses a fig tree that promptly dies, and then gives a powerful teaching on the power of faith that He expects not only to be resident in His own life, but presumptively expects His own disciples and followers to emulate as well.
