They declare Jesus to an unbelieving world. The gospel of John is a presumptive gospel maintaining that Jesus was more than the spotless lamb, more than a suffering savior, but is, in fact, the very creative principle from which all glory proceeds in giving the world its existence and mankind his salvation.

Amen! It is the type of knowing Jesus speaks of when he says depart from me workers of iniquity, I never KNEW you. Wrapping our mind around that kind of knowing...it's not performing miracles, it's knowing the lover of our soul. Yeah, I want to know you like that, Jesus.
