TurningPoint Breast Cancer Rehabilitation

Lauren Bober, Clinical Manager, Physical Therapist, Pilates Instructor: Prior to joining TurningPoint, Lauren worked in outpatient orthopedics for 12 years. Lauren recognized the value of manual therapy after helping her mother after breast cancer surgery. After attending a continuing education class taught by TurningPoint, she knew what direction she wanted to take her career. Joining TurningPoint in 2011, she has utilized her extensive orthopedic and manual therapy experience as a clinician and educator in the field of breast cancer rehabilitation. Lauren is a certified Pilates instructor and integrates this form of exercise into addressing the sequela of breast cancer treatment and side effects. Lauren is passionate about educating physical therapy students and clinicians regarding the role of physical therapy in treating the impairments resulting from breast cancer treatment. She is a certified lymphedema therapist and member of the Academy of Oncologic Physical Therapy of the American Physical Therapy Association.

Georgia Police K9 Foundation
Officer Phil Ritchey started his career at the Cordele Police Department. After a year, and wanting to move closer to family, he began working for the Alpharetta Police Department in 2006. Officer Ritchey worked in patrol, served as a motor officer in the traffic unit, was the Youth Officer and served on the Alpharetta PAL (Police Athletic League) board. Officer Ritchey now serves as a K9 Officer in the Community Service Unit with a single purpose (Narcotics) well loved 4 years old, 36 lbs black Labrador Retriever, K9 Raider.
