They only formed in November, when most players were already signed up. On spectators there is no other professional competition (apart from surfing) in Corwall over the summer, so could start to attract crowds.
History made this week - Cornwalls first game in League 1- against North wales - they were within 16 with 12 minutes to go, then let in 5 tries in the last few minutes. Neil Kelly is their coach and they are planning to build slowly with a good local county base. Good interview with Perez on the BBC app. Hope they can develop up the leagues.
only saw the highlights - but a good win for Hudders - the next three games for us will test the squad - but next week is the most important one in the short term
Despite 5 first teamers out, the lads played well. Good line defence, good attack that got better through out the game after a poor start. The nil defence was impressive. I thought leeds actually played a little better than in previous weeks. Overall a good trip with thankfully no injuries / suspensions for next week. Hopefully we will have some of the first choice players back for next week. Lomax try was class, and the young winger also played well ( apart from the one drop).
