Yes, at some point it's a "cut bait" situation when debating the vaccine. I saw a documentary on actual Flat Earthers, and at the end they encounter some quite obvious contrary evidence, which they immediately contort into somehow supporting their unshakeable belief.

I'm sorry you had that encounter. I have just given up. At this point, these people have dug into their own reasons and firmly entrenched. But yeah, everbody's not going to mask unless it's required, and everybody's not going to vaccinated unless it's required. I'm sorry, call me a nanny stater, but it should be required.
