Thank you, Edie! Enjoy your time off, and if you do cut your neighbor's lawn, I hope it doesn't lead to a Hatfield-McCoy situation. Have a great weekend everybody.

Speaking of Arab Strap, they have a great song called Girls of Summer which has a line I've always liked: "I'm getting a haircut and I want your advice." Unfortunately, for the purposes of a request, the song is over seven minutes.

Yah, someone really had their finger on the pulse of real people on that one. I mean, lottery is fun, but this is a GOOD USE of funds.

As for the next pandemic, John Oliver had an alarming episode about that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_v-U3K1sw9U

Yes, it's definitely a good thing on its own and it makes me proud of our state.

And it benefits families the most... more people... more groceries.

Agreed Tyson. The lottery is a wish. The groceries are a sure thing money today. And the fact they are doing groceries as well as a debit card really speaks to how the state is understanding how hard this has hit people.

The planters were installed by Olivia and Jim Jacobs of Clearwater Environmental, who own that complex behind the juniper trees. Marlina Miller, the Proprietress of the Grape Nest Wine Bar, installed the wine barrels and cleaned up the landscaping under the junipers. Her Grand Opening is this Sunday May 30th!!

I think it's a fascinating economic and public health experiment which each state can conduct its own way. My guess is the gift cards will a bigger incentive than the lottery tickets. They sure would for me.
