Yes but.. I can't imagine leaving an obviously distressed young adult on a freeway bridge and not immediately contacting the police..

This reminds me of the case that spurred the law that protects taxi drivers in SF from prosecution for those that take a taxi to golden gate bridge to die by suicide

And yet the driver still could have called 911 as well.. I don't understand why they didn't..
