Masquers paid for the construction, but now, we have to stay afloat for possibly another year before we can perform like "normal." We can't just sit around and wait, and begging is exhausting. Providing a service within the government-accepted protocols seems best.
If I got information that the airflow of places was going to be improved at a lot of places, that would be helpful. I just don't want to spend hours in a room with stale air that's not being cleaned well, you know
@Amanda - yes, I hear you. I went on a reconnaissance research mission last weekend. I drove to San Rafael to go to the movie theater. I went to Century Northgate. I felt very safe. I was never close to anyone except when I bought my popcorn and drinks (which were DIRT cheap)
The matinees at the Century Regency in San Rafael was never close to 25% before the pandemic, so I actually would consider that. I miss those more than anything.
Even though I am not in the high-risk group I am still careful for a handful, I heard on PBS that the airflow/circulation with new, outside air and wearing masks are important. The indoor things makes me nervous
So, Chat Room. Have any of you or will any of you partake in the new "openings" in the area? Indoor dining at 25%, movie theaters at 25%, massage or personal services, gyms at 25%?
