Let's talk about the struggle we had recording this episode:
Keyona (@supreme_royalty84) and I (@staciestiletto) were recording this episode (I LIKE MY GIRLS BBW) and shit was just flowing.
We felt as if we really struck gold with this episode. Things got a little personal and we learned some new shit about one another. It was genuine... #authentic
We wrap up the show, say our goodbyes n shit then hit the STOP RECORDING button. . . That's when shit got REAL
I didn't see the COMPRESSING AUDIO notification. Or the UPLOADING screen
I got some punk ass error message about the signal being weak (wifi was strong so I had no clue wtf they were talking about) and that the audio was lost.
Keyona and I literally sat there in shock for 45min trying to figure out wtf we were going to do.
We've had to rerecord episodes in the past and the second run is never as good as the first. When we record a topic for the second (and sometimes even a third) time, you guys don't get to hear uncut & uncensored realness of the situation (if that makes sense).
When we have to record a show over we are just going through the motions. You get content but no connection. and that's where the gems are, in the connections, the back stories, the SEE WHAT HAD HAPPENED WAS...
We are still very new to podcasting and trying to work out the kinks. So please be patient as we get our shit together. .
