Jennawae McLean is well known as the one time owner of Kingston 420 the areas largest cannabis accessory store and Vapor Lounge before cannabis legalization.

Jennawae wasn’t done there. Her passion to improve cannabis legalization and it’s laws Jennawae has now stepped into the Executive Director position at the long time cannabis advocacy group NORML Canada https://www.normlcanada.org

There's a municipality between me and North Bay that banned smoking cannabis in public. Myself, being an ACMPR patient I obviously don't care. If I need to medicate, I'm going to medicate.

That's like how in some provinces rec cannabis is purchased inside the liquor store. How well does that work for recovering alcoholics?

EXACTLY!!! It can be covered under a HSA, which would probably only require a policy change.

The cost to ODSP to cover the pharmaceuticals I used to take was around $50k/yr, the cost to cover cannabis fully or partially would be significantly less resulting on huge savings to the taxpayers.

I've heard that there's a woman on ODSP who fought them to cover her cannabis and won. There's an NDA that she had to sign. Is there anything that can be done in regards to this?

I live in Northern Ontario where it can get quite cold. It would be nice to have somewhere indoors to medicate when I go to the city when we go shopping.

I have to travel 1-1½ hours to a legal store depending on which direction I go. The concern in the dry municipalities is the safety of the children, meanwhile there's LCBO's stores and agencies, Beer Stores, and even beer available in their grocery stores. Teen alcohol consumption is a huge problem in the area. It makes absolutely no ducking sense.
