As a part of the National Bailout campaign, Gina Spencer recently raised money to bail out black mothers so they could spend Mother’s Day with their families. As Father’s Day draws near, she is doing the same for black fathers. We are talking with her about the campaign as well as with Circuit Court judge Kathleen Dailey, who is leading efforts to reform Multnomah County’s pretrial process.
