Reemergence and Reconnection: Transitioning Out of the Pandemic

Aired Friday, July 9, 2021 at 4:00 PM PST / 7:00 PM EST

In this episode, we welcome Therese Rosenblatt, Ph.D., psychologist, psychoanalyst, and author in private practice in New York. We chat about her new book, How Are You? Connection in a Virtual Age, published by Rosetta Books, and adapting to the ‘new’ normal, including transitioning back into the larger community. In addition to transitioning out of the pandemic, we chat about:
• How quarantine has changed relationships with family and friends,
• The effects of loneliness and isolation
• Finding meaning and guidance during this time of crisis
• How all-virtual communication has changed the nature of communication
• And, what she has learned as a therapist during the pandemic
