I was a Roman Catholic for nearly 30 years, and how well I remember Ash Wednesday, Lent, no meat on Fridays, and of course, Easter. Now, we do find Easter in the bible, in Acts 12:4, but it is presented as the pagan festival that it is, having nothing to do with the Jewish Passover.
