On this episode of Rightly Dividing, we pay a visit to the Genesis 6 giants, the nephilim in the days of Noah, because they are getting ready to make a reappearance in our day. How do we know this? Because Jesus in Matthew 24 says that the coming time of Jacob's trouble, which contains the Great Tribulation on the back half of those 7 years, will be just like it was in the days of Noah. The days of Noah was many things, it was the nephilim, it was fallen angels fornicating with human woman, it was a worldwide flood, and it was Enoch. That's right, Enoch. The bible tells us that Enoch was a righteous man highly favored by God, so much so that God removed him from off the earth in a one-man rapture that immediately precedes the days of Noah. Jude in the New Testament tells us that Enoch was a fiery preacher who prophesied of the Second Coming. Put it all together and what do you have? You have sitting there in the very beginning of the Old Testament the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church and the time of Jacob's trouble, in perfect typology that is rendered into prophecy by the mouth of Jesus in the New Testament. Ecclesiastes tells us that the "thing that hath been, it is that which shall be", and that is absolutely the case with Genesis 6.
