Are you a planner? I love a new calendar year to start planning out where I’m going. Have you ever stopped to ask yourself where you are in your menstrual cycle and how that could affect your productivity? What if you worked with your body and planned with your cycle?

In this episode, Dr. Emily shares insights from “In the Flo” by Alissa Vitti and the “Do Less Planner” by Kate Northrup on how to plan your time in connection with your own cycle. First, you need to know your body and know where you are at in your menstrual cycle. Then you can plan your tasks and projects according to when you will be at your optimal energy level for each item.

Menstrual phase - rest, evaluate
Follicular phase - plan, create
Ovulation - communicate, connect
Luteal - focus, accomplish

Work with your body instead of trying to force yourself to do ALL the things
Remember the egg doesn’t chase, it attracts
