Culture is not an amorphous, unguided process of chance and time. Culture is instead a deliberately and consciously shaped context. Understanding culture in this way assists us in seeing that a series of many steps have been applied to produce the current status of organizations, institutions, fads, trends, and the individuals that constitute and contribute to them.
