Recorded March 6th, 2018

We welcome first time guest Gary Lachman to the show to discuss his book "Beyond the Robot: The Life and Work of Colin Wilson". Adam discusses with Gary his interest in the British author Colin Wilson. Wilson had a great interest in the paranormal and wrote about it extensively. (Some of that material we used on the show) We also look into some of Wilson's early writing on Existentialism and how that philosophy influences his later work on the paranormal and other subjects.

Section 2 is our first ever book review. Serfiel Stevenson joins us as we look at James Shelby Downard's autobiography "The Carnivals of Life and Death: MY Profane Youth 1913-1935.
