Harry, Jojo and Reka speak with Polly Cevallos, Founding Director of JGI Australia about the up coming 60th Anniversary of Dr Jane's conservation work in Gombe. The Jane Goodall Institute is a global #wildlife and #environment #conservation organization with the international headquarters being in the UK and national branches in many countries around the world. It was founded in 1977 by English #primatologist Dame Jane Goodall DBE, who is the world-renowned #ethologist, #humanitarian, conservationist and UN Messenger of #Peace. From the moment she set foot in #Gombe Stream National Park in 1960 at age 26, to her groundbreaking discoveries of #chimpanzees as incredible, intelligent beings capable of using tools, language and a range of emotions, Dr Goodall’s life story evolved to be known as “the woman who redefined man”. Dr Jane is coming back to tour Australia in 2017.
