For part 4 of Primary Perspectives 10th Birthday month Luke and Miani cross to the UK to chat with teacher & Eco Coordinator Edd Moore from Damers First School in Dorset and one of his award winning students 8 year old Isla! Edd Moore is a highly motivated and passionate teacher and Eco Coordinator at Damers First School, which is situated in Poundbury, the Prince of Wales's sustainable community village in the UK. Starting from scratch Edd has built up an amazing portfolio of eco work at Damers and under his leadership over the last 8 years, the school has achieved the Eco Schools Green Flag three times in 2016, 2018, 2020 - plus they won Eco Schools Primary Eco School of the Year, Surfers Against Sewage Plastic Free Schools Champion and Jane Goodall Roots and Shoots Best Group in 2019 – impressive, hey!

Edd's student, 8 year old Isla, is also very passionate about the environment and spends much of her spare time out litter picking in her local town and beach, or educating her local community about how to create a more sustainable planet and future - go Isla, you're such an amazing role model!
