Playing under a rather conservative game-plan from OC Rich Scangarello, the Broncos ran the ball continually, kept the throws relatively simple and safe, and had Lock toss the ball up down the field a few times. The Air Yards per Attempt are concerning, as was the footwork which when it was off led to errant throws, but the play was about where it should be and should have folks excited about the future. The Broncos offensive line and of course, Courtland Sutton shined out as well as the Broncos defense. Playing without Von Miller, Derek Wolfe stepped up only to get hurt and will now miss the rest of the season. Furthermore, Chris Harris, Jr. continues to struggle. It was good to get a win, but it gets harder from here on out. Let's see how this last quarter of the season goes for the good guys.
