Explanation of the 39th hadith in the Heart Therapy Series:
The Prophet salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam said: (The one who hears the call to prayer on Friday and doesn’t come to it, then hears it and doesn’t come to it, then hears it and doesn’t come to it, Allah then will put a seal on his heart and make his heart the heart of a hypocrite.)
Reported by al-Bayhaqi in Shu‘ab al-Iman (2745) Al-Albani (Sahih al-Targhib 735) and Abdul Qadir al-Arna‘ut judged it to be hasan.
قالَ رسول اللهِ ﷺ: (مَنْ سَمِعَ النِّداءَ يَوْمَ الجمُعَةِ فَلَمْ يَأْتِها ثمَّ سَمِعَهُ فَلَم يَأْتِهِ ثُمَّ سَمِعَهُ فَلَم يَأْتِها طَبَعَ اللهُ على قَلبِهِ وجَعَلَ قَلْبَهُ قَلْبَ مُنافِقٍ)
رواه البيهقي في شعب الإيمان (2745) وحسنه الألباني (صحيح الترغيب 735) وعبد القادر الأرناؤوط
