On this episode of Star Trek Universe Podcast, we jump into recent news to discuss when the new Picard series will premiere, where it will shoot (why that's good for fans), and why it will be "extremely different from 'Discovery'"! We learn that more 'Short Treks" will be coming in between 'Discovery' season 2 and the new Picard series and that Michael Dorn has stipulations if he's going to make an appearance (as well as plans for his own Worf series, if it comes to that).

We also get into recent comments by Nicholas Meyer about his involvement (or lack thereof) in season 2 of 'Discovery', and we learn the title of the rumored Khan mini-series, 'Star Trek: Ceti Alpha V'!

Anson Mount announces that 'Star Trek: Discovery' will have 14 episode instead of 13, and 'The Brightest Star' writers promise answers to fans left looking for answers about the Kelpians!

John Cho and Chris Pine give their updates as to the future of 'Star Trek 4', but they may have a rocky road ahead of them as J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot contract with Paramount expires in March 2020! What could that mean for the Kelvin timeline?

Oh, and Megan Fox is acting like she doesn't know where her Star Trek starring role rumors are coming from.
