In cases of food allergies, intolerances, or sensitivities, they may provide unpleasant symptoms such as bloating, gas, or constipation. And they may also cause non-GI issues such as headaches, acne, joint pains, mood changes, low energy levels, and itchy eyes. Everybody’s body responds to foods differently. Sometimes, our body doesn’t necessarily love every food we eat, or our immune system might recognize something as a foreign invader. One common strategy to find out what's causing your symptoms is to perform an elimination diet. Elimination diets help to identify the foods your body does and does not like (and the reaction can be temporary until you heal).

Pros + Cons of the Whole30...Pro: The foods you eat on Whole30 are all great for you: loads of veggies, high-quality meats, and spices. Con: The biggest downside of this diet is that the protocol does not allow for even the smallest of slip-ups. “One bite of pizza within the 30-day period and you’ve broken the “reset” button, requiring you to start over again on Day 1.” The Bottom Line: If you’re looking for a major diet overhaul Whole30 is worth trying. The Autoimmune Protocol. AIP is perfect for those looking to resolve autoimmune diseases  like Crohn's, rheumatoid arthritis and food sensitivities. What's great is that AIP is not just for people battling an autoimmune disease. It's ideal for anyone who wants to enhance their cognitive performance and say bye to gas, bloating, a weakened immune system, joint pain, and low energy levels. AIP Resources: Paleo On The Go Meal Delivery Service and ShopAIP.com
