We make rules for our children or boundaries with others to prevent hurt or after observing challenges and often it's easy to remember these rules when it involves others. However, when we make rules for ourselves it can at times be a little tricky to stay as consistent. In this episode we talk about what rules we have made for ourselves, when we have broken them and the impact it has on our kids and ourselves. Screen time management is a common rule made in families so we discuss this one as well.

“When you check messages, voicemails, take phone calls, or even if you are scrolling, you don’t know what is a thing that could impact your mood that shifts your whole day. And then your mood shifts the kids' mood.” 20:21
