In tribute to Alzheimer's & Brain and Awareness Month, Jane speaks with celebrated four-star chef, producer, and motivational speaker Madison Cowan. In his role as chef, he has catered to actors Halle Berry, Scarlett Johansson and Anthony Anderson, rapper and poet Mos Def, fashion icon Donna Karan, and former President Bill Clinton, to name a few. Among his many other accomplishments, Chef Cowan won three consecutive episodes on the Food Network’s hit show, Chopped, to become the first ever Grand Champion. He was also victorious on Iron Chef America’s epic Battle Kale and currently is featured on multiple series on the network, such as Beat Bobby Flay, Guilty Pleasures and Iron Chef Eats. Chef Cowan has now teamed up with the Alzheimer’s Association to create special recipes to help everyone achieve better brain health. Jane will also be joined by Monica Moreno, Senior Director of Care and Support at the Alzheimer’s Association, who is responsible for the oversight and administration of all national programs and strategies serving early-stage constituents and their families. She and Jane will discuss a study the Association recently conducted on the important role of caregivers. She also shares lifestyle tip and tools to minimize cognitive impairment.
