Jesus cleansed the temple at the beginning and at the end of His earthly ministry. He was jealous for the pure and undefiled worship of His Father. God no long lives inside buildings, but rather inside of the born-again children of God. We are His temple. Just as the temple of old, our lives can become infected with thieves who would rob God of His glory and rightful place in our lives.
