The bottom line is, what we all want is to be happy. We think we want other things. However, we only want those things because we believe they are going to make us happy - and we might be right, for a minute, but not much longer than that because external circumstances don't actually anchor happiness. 

We've all been there. You think you want the thing so you can be happy and when you get it the new car smell wears off and before you even settle in you're wondering what's next. Life moves on and the thing we thought would fix everything isn't that exciting anymore.  That's because happiness, joy, satisfaction, and all of those kinds of things we really crave and a decision, not an endpoint. 

So, how do you make that choice and get happy?

You decide to quit allowing yourself to wallow anyplace else.
