Danielle Guilday and Shane Farnan guest host for Leslie during today's show. They are Producers of "The Thom Hartmann Program."

Danielle and Shane start the show off with our daily 'Ripped From The Headlines' news segment.

Next, they're joined by Greg Grandin. Greg is the author of Empire's Workshop, Fordlandia, a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in history and the National Book Award, and, most recently, The Empire of Necessity: Slavery, Freedom, and Deception in the New World. He discusses his recent article for 'The Nation' entitled "Capitalism and Slavery."

Then they're joined by the Bureau Chief for The Talk Radio News Service, Ellen Ratner, as she gives us the latest news from the Capitol.

The second hour of the show focuses on the Supreme Court; past, present and future.

To begin the hour Danielle and Shane are joined by Ian Millhiser, a Senior Constitutional Policy Analyst at the Center for American Progress and the Editor of ThinkProgress Justice. The three of them discuss Ian's new book entitled "Injustices: The Supreme Court's History of Comforting the Comfortable and Afflicting the Afflicted."

During the final segment of the show, Danielle and Shane take calls from the audience as they further discuss the tainted past of the Supreme Court.
