Today's guest is Susannah Akers who is the mother of three grown children, two daughters, one son-in-law and the grandmother of four. She has earned three degrees from Tennessee Tech University: BS, Child Development,
MA: Educational Psychology and an EdS, Educational Psychology. She worked as a school counselor for Putman County Schools for ten years as well as one year for Metro Schools in Nashville, TN. She belongs to The Belonging Co church in Nashville where she resides. She is currently writing her second book which is the sequel to her first, documenting her battle with alcohol. Her blog is Akers of Hope.

Susannah is so open and transparent in this interview. She shares her fears, her struggles, her blessings,her victories and how God has been there through her hard story. She is such an inspiration and I truly appreciate her willingness to share with others as she begins to heal and recover.
