Fear Is The devil! Not An Emotion!

****Scripture states in 2 Tim 1:7, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power(Christ), and of love,(God), and of a sound mind." The word used here for fear is different than all the other words used for fear in the Bible. As Christians, we are a physical body, soul (mind and emotions), and Christ (God's Spirit in us). Spirit of fear is not an emotion and not physical, but is the manifested spirit of the devil himself to cause us to HAVE strong emotions of terror, with confusion and panic to keep us from having enough sense or stability to turn to God in our time of trouble or panic. If satan can terrorize us enough to cause us to delay or neglect turning to God, he will have advantage over us and as Jesus says in John 10:10, the devil will do everything he can to steal, kill and destroy us. In 1 John 5:4, the Scripture states "...this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith," which is our acceptance and obedience to God's Word. That is why we must do as in James 4:7, "Submit ourselves to God (His Word), resist the devil(spirit of fear), and he(the spirit of fear) will flee from us." Submitting ourselves to God(His Word) is our faith which gives us the victory over the world, 1 John 5:4. We make the choice, to either turn and submit to God or do it our way and give the devil advantage. It is not easy to trust God and turn to Him the first few times, but when you do and see His victory once or more, it gets easier. Listen in and hear how to get the victory over fear!
