Omri Gillath, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology and the Hoglund Brain Imaging Center at the University of Kansas.
He has explored associations between attachment style (or relationship style) and cognitive performance, sexual motivation and behavior, mating strategies, and caregiving behavior.

His research indicates for the first time that people who are anxious about their relationships with humans tend to have less trust in AI as well. Importantly, the research also suggests trust in artificial intelligence can be increased by reminding people of their secure relationships with other humans.
