One thing is for sure, you will have more opinions on who or what the Beast is in Revelation than will be helpful, if you start asking your friends and Bible teachers. it doesn't really matter what anybody says on this topic...except the Holy Spirit through His word. So we are bound to learn what the Bible expects the reader to know about what a "beast" has been depicted as in the rest of the Bible. Once we know this, we will have the tools needed to interpret Revelation and it's themed imagery.
