Karel Why A Vaccine Won't Work states that America was just coming to grips with its girth and then the pandemic hit. Now, obesity will either make Covid worse if you get it, or prevent the vaccine from being totally effective according to research.

So what do we do? Half of the people polled already won't get the vaccine. We will have no way of knowing who has or hasn't gotten it. And, even if they have, if they are obese, it may not work. So why are we banking on a vaccine instead of a cure?

The Lie of Unemployment Numbers

New unemployment numbers are out, but what picture do they tell? On what number are they based? There are 328 million Americans. But , only 155 million in the workforce. So 10% unemployment means 15 million out of work...but how many just quit? Retire? Don't reenter?

Until we count the true cost of this pandemic on America, including those older Americans who were close to retiring, 10 years or less, and now, have been forced to leave the work force, then we won't understand the societal impact in total. This has decimated the American work force, which was already in a very sad state.

The Sad Truth

We live in a time of idiots. In a time when solutions are apparent but no one is acting upon them. And it makes you and I feel powerless. So what are we to do? How do those who feel, think and know live at a time of no empathy, no critical thinking and blatant ignorance?
