What is this, a crossover episode? Nation of Animation and Blank City, Nowhere have finally, inevitably, joined up to bridge the worlds of tabletop games and animation appreciation! We’re playing the new game Under The Neighborhood by Kyle Decker, which takes inspiration from modern series like Gravity Falls, Steven Universe, and Amphibia among others to tell stories about youth in a wonderfully weird world full of mystery, danger, and thrilling adventures!

Welcome to Camp NeverSleep, where the Human world sits side-by-side with a mysterious plant world, and all manner of strangeness lurks in the woods surrounding the camp. Our four intrepid campers are looking forward to a wild, bizarre summer, and today, a special summons to help the plant people of the Blooman kingdom will send them hurtling deeper into the strangeness than ever before.
