Matt Linton was born and raised in St. Stephen, New Brunswick Canada and graduated from St. Stephen High School. After graduating he went on to major in Theology at Northeast Christian College in Fredericton, N.B.

In the summer of 2001 he married Cynara Cowan from Picton Ontario, who had just graduated from Northeast Christian College, and went on to graduate himself.

Matt is an ordained minister and has filled multiple ministerial roles over the years. These include, Senior Pastor, Associate Pastor, Youth Pastor, International Evangelist, served time on the mission field in Guatemala, and he has released three music projects as a southern gospel recording artist.

Matt and Cynara have been blessed with three children Malaki and Selah and Bentlea. Matt and his family now travel full time with their music ministry spreading the gospel of Christ through concerts and preaching.

Matt says he feels tremendously blessed to be able to do what he loves for The Lord.
