It always amazes us that so many churches are afraid to name the sin and name the criminal who committed those offenses against innocent people. Is it fair to name the abuser before the church? What about the rest of us who have to own up to what we've done? All of us are humiliated when we are caught doing something that hurts another person, so why should abusers be exempt from this painful process?
