This week on Assembly Call Radio, we use Indiana's long holiday layoff to take a step back and discuss a potpourri of topics including our expectations for Big Ten play, Romeo's freshman season (and who it reminds us of), how we project minutes to be doled out moving forward, and much, much more.

On the mics: Jerod and our special guest host Galen Clavio (@doctorgc) from Crimson Cast.

• [00:27] In Segment One, Jerod the discusses the importance of Indiana finally getting back into the top 25 polls, Galen provides his big picture thoughts on this IU team so far, and then we roll through a number of FAQs (the health of Rob, Zach, Race, and Jerome, plus Keion Brooks' recruitment) before assessing how this IU team stacks up nationally.

• [17:46] In Segment Two, we focus on the Big Ten. Have our expectations for how Indiana fares in the Big Ten standings changed? What do we make of the conference as a whole? What teams have we changed our opinions on? And is Michigan overrated?

• [32:48] In Segment Three, we project how minutes will be doled out moving forward (which leads to a discussion of the importance of Justin Smith and Devonte Green), then we assess Romeo's freshman year and discuss what IU player his freshman season is most like, and finally we discuss the biggest changes this IU team has made from the beginning of the season to know.

• [48:34] And in our final segment, we answer your questions. We got a few about the quadrant system and KenPom, so we hit those quickly.

All of that and more on this week's edition of Assembly Call Radio.
