ABOUT Luna Ugrenović, M.S.

Luna Ugrenovic, a native of Belgrade - Serbia, is a third-year doctoral student at West Virginia University in the sport, exercise, and performance psychology program and is simultaneously working on a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling. She serves as a clinical and sport psychology graduate assistant and an intern in WVU Athletics. She also works at the Whole Brain Solutions private practice where she is being trained to do trauma therapy. Additionally, Ugrenovic has been working as a mental performance consultant for the WVU Rowing program since 2019.

Prior to WVU, Ugrenovic completed her master’s degree in movement science with a specialization in sport, exercise, and performance psychology at Barry University in Miami, while also working as the graduate assistant rowing coach.

She obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Barry in 2017. While a student-athlete there, she was a member of a two-time NCAA Division II championship rowing team.

Tommy Minkler, M.A., is a Ph.D. Candidate in Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology at West Virginia University, where he is also pursuing a M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. In addition to offering sport psychology services to high school and college athletes and teams, he also works as a mental health counseling intern at Fairmont State University, providing mental health services to students.
