02 Jumuah Khutbah

Jumuah Khutbah on the topic of being truly grateful for the many bounties and favors that Allaah, the Most Merciful, has bestowed upon us. Based on the following hadeeth:

Salamah ibn ‘Ubayd-Allaah ibn Mihsan al-Khatmi, from his father, who met the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). He said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The one among you who wakes up secure in his property, healthy in his body, and has his food for the day, it is as if the whole world were brought to him.” 

Narrated by al-Bukhaari in al-Adab al-Mufrad (no. 300) and by al-Tirmidhi in al-Sunan (2346). He said: It is hasan ghareeb. 

Khutbah also highlights the importance of learning the biography of the best of mankind, Prophet Muhammad, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam.
