God Is Absolute Truth – Wisdom Unplugged


Thank you for joining us for our 5 days per week wisdom and legacy building podcast. This is day 775 of our trek, and it is time for a 3-minute mini-trek called Wisdom Unplugged. Due to heavy travel and an activity-filled schedule for the next three weeks, our Wisdom-Trek episodes will be shorter so that I can pre-record them in advance of this time.

As we start this new year, I thought it would be good to invest this time discovering God and His key attributes. Yesterday we explored that God is holy. Today’s attribute is...
God Is Absolute Truth
Because God is absolute truth...I will believe what He says and live accordingly.

[Jesus said] "I was born and come into the world to testify to the truth. All who love the truth recognize that what I say is true," John 18:37.

God wants us to know the truth. He gave us the Bible to help us understand the truth. He guides us into truth through the Holy Spirit.

God revealed the truth to us in the person of Jesus, who said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life," John 14:6. While many people claim to know the truth, only Jesus could honestly claim to be the truth.

God is the source of all truth because He is present everywhere, knows all things, and totally understands what is real, right, and true. Therefore, whatever He says is absolutely true.

God is our anchor in a society of relativism and falsehood. Do your actions demonstrate you have bought into the lies of popular culture? Or are you consistently discovering the truth in God's Word?

The truth will only be found by those who diligently and honestly seek it. Commit yourself daily to walk in the light of God's truth. God is the truth.

"Teach me your ways, O Lord, that I may live according to your truth!" Psalm 86:11.
